Michael and I were pretty worried how our Husky, Jack, would react to Macy. He has been the "baby" of the family for 2 years now and has never really been treated like a dog. The first week we were home was a little rough for Jack. He wasn't in the house much and ended up digging out of our backyard and we found him on our front porch. Well, things have gotten better and he's become quite protective of Macy. He always has to be right where she is. He also hates it when she cries. One time Michael had Mace in the living room and I was in the kitchen. When she started crying, Jack came to the kitchen and nudged my leg and went back and forth until I went to the living room to check on Macy and tell Jack she was ok. That's exactly how Barkley! was and still is with Maida. He is VERY protective of her. Now they play and play. Maida always has a mouth full of dog hair because she kisses him so much (gross, right?!).
I can't wait to meet sweet Macy and I told Mel that she needs to make the "three girls" matching bows for the next time we're all together!!! :)

The pictures of Macy and Jack together are so great! Kody and I always talk about what we think Bailey will be like. Yikes! Hope you guys are doing well!
She looks so tiny next to him. Dogs can sort of scare you at first with a baby, but really end up being so protective!
