Happy 1/2 Birthday Macy!

Happy 1/2 Birthday to Macy! (For those of you that don't celebrate 1/2 birthdays, you should. It's fun.) I can't believe our little girl is 6 months old today. The past 6 months have been great...minus those first few weeks...those, not so much fun. :) Macy seems to be growing and changing everyday and we've really started seeing her little personality. She is always smiling and generally in a good mood...as long as she has not missed her nap! She is still sleeping well at night and sleeps anywhere from 10-12 hours, so that is great for me and Michael. Mace loves being outside and really loves the "runs" she goes on with her Mommy. Macy isn't crawling or scooting yet, but she rolls all over the place and can get anywhere she wants to go. She's already said "Mama" and has also said "Dada" a couple of times. (She said "Mama" first...I win Michael!) We went to the doctor today and Macy is 14 lbs. 9 oz. (25%) and 25 in. long (25%). Here are a few pictures I took this week. I couldn't decide which ones to put up, so I'm putting them all up. I love her faces in these:

We went to the Delta Alumni Softball Game this week. As Michael said, "If they're calling me to play, you know they are desperate." We had a good time hanging out with the Byrds and Brookshires. It's still a little weird going to Delta stuff...sweet Gamma girlst just didn't do things like that! Haha! Just kidding...kinda :)
I love these two pics of Macy:

The Brookshires: Melinda, Jack, and Beau. I meant to get a picture of all the kids together, but didn't.
The stellar softball player - this picture is dark, but the only one I got of my Michael:

I also saw that Ginny tagged me, so I promise to get to that sometime soon. Michael, Macy, and I are headed to Texas tomorrow so I can go to my high school homecoming! I'm super excited...I know, I know, I'm a dork!

Yikes! Thanks for letting me know you were taking pics. Not one of my more photogenic moments, for sure : )

Anywho, happy 1/2 birthday Mace and you guys have a great time in Texas. I wish I could go back to my school's homecoming.

YAY 1/2 birthdays! I'm so glad you celebrate them too. I get made fun of a lot for it, but it's not my fault if others are not as cool as we are! Give Macy a 1/2 birthday hug from me! Have fun at homecoming!

You're not a dork--I posted a Tiger video on my blog. Macy is so expressive! All her bows look so sweet. Y'all take care!
