Weekend in Vanland

We spent last weekend in Van. Lacey and Caleb left for South Korea this past Thursday, so we went down to say our final goodbyes. We miss you here in OK Aunt Lacey! We watched Major play in his little dribbler championship game, which they won. Whoo-hoo! Oh, and Macy also decided to take her first steps while we were there. She just took about 4 or 5 steps, but I don't think it will be long before she's running all over the place! I also got to run my favorite 5 mile route of all time while we were there. (You runners out there will appreciate that.) On a side note, I decided to run the OKC half-marathon! I've been running off and on since Macy was born and I finally decided I was ready to get back into it. I don't think I'll be in "Katie Allen" shape for the race, but more like "Macy's Mom" shape. :) We'll see how it goes...Ok, now for the pictures:

Macy was dancing and going crazy - it was hilarious! I really wish I had it on video:

Here are a few I took of Macy and Jay after church on Wednesday night:

Also, here's a few pics of Macy in the outfit that Aunt Susie got her for Christmas. Thanks Aunt Susie! We love it! :)

I am so excited you are going to run the half. I am too!!! Well, at least I am planning on it. I'm currently down with the flu which is hampering my running. :) Anyway, I am excited we'll get to run together...well, I'll watch you running ahead of me!

What cute photos! Good luck running the 1/2 marathon. And it was so great seeing you yesterday. We all need to get together soon.
