What an AWESOME weekend in Dallas! Michael and I went down for the OU/TEXAS game. It's one of my favorite days of the year. My mom and grandmother came to Dallas to watch Macy for us while we went to the game. (Thanks again you two!) Macy did well for them, but just refused to drink her bottle the entire time we were gone, so it had been almost 8 hours since she ate when we picked her up. At least she was happy. Anyway, I love going to the fair before the game. Michael and I look like a walking ESPN commercial. It's so fun hearing the comments from random people. Like, "DUDE, how in the world can you be with a LONGHORN??" And, "What's all this about? You must really love him, huh?". We sat in the OU section and I'm lobbying for the Texas section next year. It's just not quite as fun, even toward the end when it was obvious Texas was going to win. It was dead silent in the OU section and I was the only one standing up and clapping and everybody is giving me the evil eye. I just wanted to enjoy the win! Michael can stay in the OU section, just get me a ticket in the Texas section! :) Michael and I have a bet every year about who wins. The past couple of years the bet was whoever's team won, they got to decorate the living room with any OU/Texas apparel. This year we made the bet that if Texas won, Macy would wear Texas clothes for the year and if OU won, she would wear OU clothes. Michael now denies this. (I knew I should have gotten it in writing.) I will admit the only reason I made the bet is because I'm the one that dresses Macy and I just wouldn't put the OU stuff on her. I guess we are both cheaters! Here are a few pics from the weekend. I love it! I hope the games don't cause a rift in your marriage. I know for our sake, it is a good thing I cheer for a team outside the Big XII or Josh and I would forever be at each others throats...we are that competitive (or immature).
