Principal For a Day

Michael had the opportunity to be principal for a day at my old school, Edmond Memorial, on Tuesday. It's a deal the Edmond Public Schools Foundation sponsors every year. He got to see my school and meet some of my former co-workers and students. Macy and I went up there and took the tour of the new Freshmen Academy with him. I got to see where my brand new classroom would have been if I still was teaching. It was SO nice and the lab space was awesome. Oh well. I wouldn't trade staying home with Macy for anything. I took Michael's picture before he left, like it was his first day of school! (I know, I'm a dork.)

He even got his own name tag!
