Happy Valentine's Day!

Michael and I had a great Valentine's Day! Michael (as always) did a great job. He surprised me by bringing me lunch, a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and he also got me a gift certificate to get a pedicure. I'm really excited about the pedicure, especially since I'm having a hard time reaching my feet right now. The best part was the card he got me - complete with a poem and all. Michael wrote it from himself, Macy, and Jack and then "signed" all their names. Macy's was a little hand print and Jack's was a paw print. Macy's fingers were all the same size and Jack's paw was a little off, but I absolutely loved it! My favorite part about the paw print was that Michael googled a picture of a paw print and even practiced drawing it a few times before he put it on the card. You'll just have to see the picture. Michael and I also have a tradition that I make him breakfast in bed for Valentine's Day. Well, this year Michael told me he was worried about me getting enough sleep, so he didn't want me to get up early to make him breakfast. So sweet and thoughtful, right? The truth is I teach a 1st hour at school this year, so I usually leave the house by 7 a.m. and we all know how Michael feels about mornings...we had a good laugh and I gave him a hard time about it. We also had dinner at Red Lobster and then we came home and watched a sappy chick flick. My husband is the best!!

Here's the card:
