First, this is Michael. This may very well be the last belly picture. Don't I have the cutest and most beautiful pregnant wife? Yes, that is a huge understatement. As the picture taker, this will not upset me too much. On the other hand, this means that Macy is almost here! As some of you know, we made a trip to the hospital a couple of weeks ago. Katie had to get a shot to calm her contractions and has been taking a prescriptions ever since. Our doctor said that she will be removing Katie from that later this week. The doctor also said that does not mean the baby will come right after that, but she did say to get ready. So, that is what we have been doing. We picked up her stroller and pack n' play today. Quick update on the crib: My mother has it almost completely repaired. I cannot even guess how much time she spent correcting my mistakes. We cannot thank her enough and are getting excited about seeing it in a couple of weeks. The next scheduled visit is for spring sing. Myra is preparing for her first big show. We are hoping that we get to see it live, but have already been excused if we have to see the video, because Macy is born. If I were a betting man, I would put my money on March 3. Katie's guess is February 29. Feel free to post your own guess. If you are right, you can buy US dinner (or diapers)! I like February 29, so we only have to buy her birthday presents once every four years. My cousin Cory, who's birthday is also February 29, did tell me that he gets presents every year. A few random thoughts: First, I am going to be a father. How scary is that! I am definitely a little freaked out, but am dealing with it ok. Please keep praying for both Katie and Macy's health. Second, I love tax refunds. Yes, I know that I could have already had the money, invested it and made more money. But, what a nice suprise. Those are the nicest words I will ever say about something that comes from the IRS. Third, I have been so impressed with Katie's toughness and perseverance during this pregancy. If I had to estimate, I bet she has vomitted more than 100 times throughout this pregnancy. Of those times, there are less than 5 times where that has kept her down for more than an hour. When I puke, I am down for atleast a day, if not more. I have a new appreciation for women and what they go through during pregnancy. Finally, I have been so amazed at the generousity of our family, church family, friends and Edmond Memorial High School Cross County and Track teams (along with other faculty and students). We have received so many gifts that will make Macy's life so much easier. Thank you all so much. Have a good week and stay tuned, a new member of the Clark family will be arriving soon. I just hope that stork can find our house...

if I could only have a contraction I would be happy! Good luck with everything, Macy may come before Cooper, and he supposedly only has 4 days left! We'll be praying for you all.

I'm gonna bet on Feb 27th, for absolutly no reason at all! Just thought that it sounded like a good day! I'm excited for you guys. Please keep me posted!! (And by the way, did you know that if you look at your blog long enough, when you finally look away, you can see horizontal lines everywhere? Erik and I were reading the blog together and when we were done, I said, "I think I'm getting a migraine cause I can see lines everywhere." And he said, "No, you're not. I can see them too!" Then we were trying to figure out where the lines were coming from and finally linked it back to your blog! I think it's the black background and white print! Too funny!)
about Michael's IRS comment...Just wait till you can claim that child tax break next year--that's why we have so many children. Not really. We sure are excited for you and praying each day. Love y'all!
