In the Home Stretch

We are almost there! Our doctor's appointment went well on Thursday. Dr. Huff was concerned that Macy was not turned the right way, so she did an ultrasound. I was really excited about the ultrasound because we had not seen Macy since we found out she was a girl in October...and she still is a girl! We had Dr. Huff double check. Fortunately she was head down and Macy is looking and measuring just great. It was so awesome to see her! She is HUGE compared to the last time we saw her. I am off the Brethine now so we are just waiting. Dr. Huff said she didn't think Macy would come in the next few days, but she would probably be here in the next week or two. Of course, there is no way to know for sure. I'm having anywhere from 6-10 contractions in an hour, but they aren't bad yet. A little uncomfortable, but not bad. We just about have everything ready for her to get here. Michael's parents are bringing down Macy's bed next weekend when they will be here for Spring Sing. As Michael said, we are SO grateful for all the hard work Becky did on the bed. We picked up Macy's stroller and Pack 'N Play this past week and I just love it. (We already had her carseat.) Of course, it's black and white. Here's a couple of pictures:

We also made another purchase on Saturday to "get ready for Macy", but I'll let Michael post about that later.

Hey guys! I'm so excited for you guys... And I have one more thing that you should go get before Macy arrives. It's the book, "The No-Cry Sleep Solution". I just read it and it's AWESOME. I wish that I would have read it before now. We don't really have problems with Maida sleeping through the night, but this book just had a ton of sleep research done on infants. And I found that part of it interesting, helped me better understand babies. Read it!
